I spent all of Monday afternoon and evening wandering along the Yarra River bank taking photographs around Melbourne CBD. I was with my friend Steve who is also a member of my Probus club. We both share an interest in photography..
Along our six hour walk, we encountered many interesting scenes. They ranged from views of the city skyline, parks, bridges and buildings. We found a little laneway off Flinders Street that is the graffiti centre of Melbourne. We even found a couple of women who had just married and were having wedding photos taken next to a mural along the wall.
I took well over two hundred photographs but have uploaded just a few of the best onto my photo website at Smugmug. You can see them here.
As always, your comments are most welcome.
G’day Bruce.
As usual , stunning pictures… the locale was my stamping ground for the last 18 years ,of interest was the Evan Walker Bridge that I traversed every day from Flinders St Station to the Office.
I retired from IBM , which is in the Southbank Pic a few weeks ago..
Many thanks for the memories !
cheers…..
